Circa £24,000 PA (dependent on experience)

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working in regulated services, with vulnerable adults with a variety of needs. You will have the following key responsibilities:
To provide effective and inspiring leadership in the service; you will be accountable for the management, delivery and development of the service’s operational activities.To hold the CQC manager registration (Domiciliary Care) and meet - and strive to exceed - legislative requirementsTo work with senior colleagues and peers in implementing an ‘eyes wide open’ culture of continuous quality improvement and budgetary compliance.To create a ‘can do’ culture and be resolution focused.To develop a successful and strategically relevant service in the local area of Torbay – both through the Supported Living service and the community outreach service.
The role focuses on ensuring needs of the people are not just ‘met’ but constantly evaluated and minimised through proactive goal planning, facilitation and learning. Motivating and engaging the team in the processes of delivering incremental move-through to more independence and/ or better quality of life is key skills needed to succeed in this role.
The post holder must have demonstrable experience of working with individuals with a Learning Disability/mental health needs.
