Our client is a dynamic Company providing complex domiciliary care in the Midlands, in the Warwickshire area. We are looking for an experienced Company Accountant or accounts assistant that can work in-house in Warwickshire, to keep the Company’s financial data up to date and liaise with the external accountants to prepare monthly management information. The candidate will also be involved in preparing the monthly Payroll information from in-house staff rota system as well as collate care hours delivered in order to invoice customers on a weekly basis.

Main duties and responsibilities will be:

Day to Day book keeping for the CompanyProduce monthly management accounts for the Board to include Profit and Loss and Balance SheetPrepare Budgets and Cash FlowsAll aspects of sales and purchase ledgersBank reconciliationsCredit controlFull reconciliation of the balance sheet and month end proceduresTimesheet & Expenses processing from which you will prepare the payroll informationUpload Sales invoices for RBS Invoice Financing and fully reconcile the factoring account monthlyAny other general office & finance related functions

Required skills/knowledge

Working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage Line 50 and Sage PayrollExperience of management accounts and reportingProven Microsoft Excel/Word skills and computer literacyAttention to detail with highly effective planning, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to bring enthusiasm to day-to-day tasks


Salary - £25,000 to £27,000

Dependent on Qualifications and Experience
