My client is a well established charity providing support for adults with learning disabilities across the North West area, they currently have a opening for a Finance Manager to join the growing service.

Your role as a finance manager your responsibilities will be some of the following;

1. To prepare annual budgets and three year rolling projections

2. To attend meeting of the Board of Trustees, and chair the Financial Sub Committee of the Board 3. To advise the Leadership Team and Board on compliance with all relevant legislation and especially company and charity law, and purchaser contract compliance

4. To develop the funding base to secure present and future provision, in liaison with the Chief Executive

5. To maintain appropriate relationships with funders and make reports as necessary, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of support

6. To line manage the Finance team and such other staff as may be appointed, including monthly supervisions

7. To prepare the statutory annual accounts

8. To plan and manage cash flow and investment activity – the latter in consultation with investment managers, pension advisers, auditors and other external stakeholders

You must have the following experience;

1. At least two tears in a senior financial role

2. Charity/Voluntary sector accounting (desirable)

3. Working with local authorities and/or the NHS (desirable)

4. Managing professional staff financial

5. Responsibility for a budget and external liaison with auditors
